Monzo – free £10-£50

Monzo is the UK’s most popular digital bank offering current accounts with a wealth of features from savings pots, to high interest instant access savings accounts, and of course a shiny metal card. You can even get your salary paid a day early. Can’t say fairer than that.

Zopa bank account – free £10 – offer ended

Like Monzo, Zopa is an offering an instant £10 to new customers opening a Zopa Biscuit current account. I’ve previously reviewed Zopa Biscuit here, but in short, you get 2% cashback on direct debits, fee free foreign spending, and a 7.1% regular savings account.

How to get it:

  1. visit the link below and enter your mobile phone number
  2. Complete the sign up process within 30 days of entering your phone number

Payment speed: Reward paid instantly

Paypal – £10

Previously a ‘necessary evil’ of using eBay, Paypal is now ubiquitous when it comes to shopping or sending money online. Yet, if you still don’t have an account, Paypal will give £10 for opening a new one if you sign up via our link below, and spend £5 within 30 days of opening your account.

The trick here, is you don’t actually need to ‘spend’ the £5. Simply transferring it via Paypal to a family member will also qualify.

How to get it:

  1. Sign up via the provided link.

Trading 212 – Free fractional share worth up to £100

I’ve previosuly reviewed Trading 212. It was the first commission free trading platforms in the UK, and remains one of the best places investment platforms around. Even if you don’t want to actually invest, Trading 212 offers ISAs, and a debit card that pays 0.5% cashback on spending.

Deposits are protected under the FSCS up to £85,000, and interest paid on cash ranges from 4%-5.2% depending on currency.

If that’s not enough, those singing up via our link below will also be given a free fractional share worth up to £100.

To claim your free fractional share all you have to do, is go to the Trading 212 website via our link, register for an ISA or an Invest account using promo code MSA212 then deposit £10 or more into your account, it’s easy.

Get a free fractional share with up to £1001

This article should not be considered investment advice. When investing, your capital is at risk. Investments can rise and fall, and you may get back less than you invested. For Invest and ISA accounts, eligible UK customers are also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000 per person. Terms apply.

Robinhood – Free shares worth up to $175

Just like trading 212 above, Robinhood is a modern commission free broker. Where it differs from T212 is that it only offers US shares, and more in-depth trading options.

It opened its virtual doors to UK residents in 2024 and is looking to attract new customers by offering bonus shares for signing up and depositing cash. Speaking of which, cash deposits with Robinhood enjoy 4.25% AER interest at the time of writing.

While the headline rate might be $175, it’s worth mentioning that 96% of all bonuses are in the $7-$8 range. However the nice thing about it is that you get to pick your own bonus shares. For my bonus stock I chose Nvidia, which has of course grown nicely.

Tide – £50 to £100

Tide is a digital business account with full FSCS protection. Yet even if you aren’t running a full-time business you can still get this offer.

I’ve been using Tide since its launch, and it has developed into one of the best business accounts around.

What’s the offer: £50 for opening a new business account

How to get it:

  1. Sign up via the provided below
  2. Deposit £100.
  3. Spend £500 using the Tide card (includes Revolut top-ups)

Payment speed: up to 30 days

There’s an easier way too. If you join TopCashback here then sign up to Tide from there you’ll get a £100 bonus and all you have to do is deposit £50 into your account.

Quidco – £15

Quidco is a cashback website like Topcashback. Cashback websites pay you when you go through them to make a purchase you were going to make anyway.

for example If you wanted to buy a washing machine at Curry’s, rather than going direct to the retailers website, you’d go to Quidco, then click on the link to the Curry’s website there. Your visit would be recorded and your purchase tracked. As reward you earn a certain percentage off your purchase.

What’s the offer: £15 sign up bonus for new users

How to get it:

  • Sign up to Quidco via the link below
  • Shop online as you would normally but use retailer link via Quidco
  • The sign up bonus will be released once you earn £5 Cashback.

Payment speed: 30 days

Starling bank – £3 donation

Ok you got us, Starling doesn’t offer a sign up bonus, but in our opinion it’s one of the best banks around. And for every referral, rather than hand out free money to customers, Starling will donate to the Trillion Trees project.

So not only do you get a shiny new bank account, which just happens to be our top pick for spending abroad, you also get to do some good for the environment.

>> Open a Starling account

Freetrade – free share up to £100

Not to be outdone by Trading 212, Freetrade also has a free share offer for new users. To get the bonus all you need to do is sing up via the link below, fill out a W-8BEN form (that allows you benefit from the tax treaty between the UK and US), and top up your account with £50.

You can open a Trading 212 and Freetrade account to benefit from offers, but you’re going to stick to just one, see our Trading 212 vs Freetrade comparison to help you decide which platform is best for you.

Currensea – £10 cashback

If you bank with NatWest, TSB, Lloyds, HSBC, or Barclays, Currensea could save you a fortune when it comes to spending money abroad. It acts as a middle man between your holiday spending and your bank, so regardless of where you are in the world, your account will only be charged in pounds.

On a typical family break in Europe, you’d stand to save over £130 vs the main highstreet banks. See our Currensea review for more.

Currensea used to run its own cashback offer, but now you can get £10 cashback without actually spending a penny.

To get the offer you first need to sign up to Currensea using our link and spend £100 using your Currensea card abroad. It doesn’t all have to be in one go, so you can build up to the £100 over the course of your holiday.

Curve – £10 reward (but only £4 profit)

Curve is a free mobile wallet that acts as a layer above your existing credit and debit cards. It’s a pretty unique concept that allows you combine multiple payment options, go back in time and change the card you paid with, set backup payment methods incase your card is declined (anti-embarrassment mode), and earn cashback.

It’s a great tool to have in your wallet even if you only use it occasionally I like do.

Now, Curve is offering a free £10 sign up bonus to new customers.

To get the bonus you need to follow these steps:

  • Sign up to Curve here and verify your identity
  • Order a physical card (£5.99)
  • Make three purchases of £5 or more using Curve

You have 7 days from when you sign up to complete all of the steps. So it’s best to make the 3 purchases using your virtual curve card and Apple/Google pay rather than wait for your physical card arrive.

Once you’ve completed all of the steps you will be rewarded £10 of Curve cash points which you can use to spend as normal.
